Monday we went out to enjoy the simple beauties of nature. The AuSable River is the one we hoped to go canoeing/tubing on but got rained out. We also visited an historical graveyard and homesite nestled in a forest of Jack Pines. It was a beautiful, quiet retreat.

So so thankful Dad was able to go with us.
This is the nearest thing to heaven to him without actually being heaven.
